25 | An unannounced annual inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ruby Ocegueda and Robert Gutierrez. LPAs met with Site Supervisor/Teacher Lori DeLeon and toured the facility, both indoors and outdoors as shown on the facility sketch. There were no bodies of water on site. There were no Firearms/weapons and are not allowed or stored on premises. All children were under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. There was a ratio of one teacher supervising no more than 12 children in attendance. There was no disinfectants, cleaning solutions or other dangerous items observed in accessible areas. No poisons were observed today. All materials and surfaces accessible to children were toxic free. All toilets, hand washing, and bathing facilities were in safe and sanitary operating conditions. All floors were clean and safe. Furniture and equipment were in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Meals are prepared in Laton Elementary kitchen/cafeteria and the children are walked by staff to the cafeteria to eat. One meal is provided for the A.M. class and one meal is provided for the P.M. class. Snacks are not provided. Uncontaminated drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Menus are posted at least one week in advance, where an authorized representative can view them. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors that meet statutory requirements. Playground equipment is in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts.
Outdoor activity space surface is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Areas around high climbing equipment, swings, and slides have wood chips to protect any possible falls.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) are not being provided at this time. Director understands that a written IMS plan must be provided to CCL if IMS are ever to be provided.
