On 08/09/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stephanie Vega-Gonzalez conducted an announced case management inspection on this date that was initiated by licensee (Clovis Unified School District). LPA met with Coordinator of Preschool Programs, Child Development Department, Clovis Unified School District, Tara Logan. LPA explained the purpose of today's inspection. The purpose of today's inspection was to conduct an inspection on the newly renovated play structure.

On today's date LPA inspected the play structure and found the structure to be in good working order. LPA observed that the play area was fenced as per regulation. LPA did not observe any dangerous objects or hazards. LPA was informed by Director that the play structure will obtain more wood chips before children are present in play structure area. Director stated that she will update the department with images once wood chips had been placed and appropriate documents. On today's date LPA observed that there was sufficient cushioning by fall zones, yet observed that play structure overall did need more wood chips.

As of 8/9/2024 the newly renovated play structure can be used for children in care.


Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency cited.
Exit interview conducted with Coordinator, Tara Logan. A copy of this report and Appeal Rights were provided and discussed with Coordinator, Tara Logan. A notice of site visit was also printed and provided to Coordinator.
