15) Cushioning on the metal poles shall be installed to help prevent children from sustaining an injury when they run into the poles.
16) The canvas shade is ripped.
17) There is spacing between the brick fencing and the metal chain link pole to allow a child to escape.
18) An igloo with disposable cup dispenser and disposable cups for the outside drinking water is required.
19) LPA observed bird droppings on the equipment under the tree. Licensee shall ensure that the equipment is cleaned each time before children come out to play. Licensee can provide a cleaning schedule or move the equipment.
20) Clean the spider webs under the tables.
During today's visit, LPA received a waiver request for the next two weeks to allow the items listed on page 1 and page 2 to be completed. The items that need to be corrected is for the new outside play yard. Licensee is aware that the waiver request is only for two weeks. LPA will conduct another inspection visit on 11/15/2019 to ensure that the new play yard is in compliance and to receive an updated outside facility sketch.
Licensee is aware that a new fire clearance will be needed to inspect the multipurpose room and for the new capacity of 93 children. Licensee shall provide a $25 fee for the change in capacity, an updated application LIC 200A reflecting infant/toddler and preschool capacity, a fire clearance request, updated LIC 610 Emergency Disaster Plan, updated LIC 500, updated facility sketches (inside and outside) and a Board resolution stating authorization of the change and authorizing a person to act on their behalf. These forms are and fee shall be sent to the Fresno Community Care Licensing office by November 11, 2019.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency cited during today's visit. Exit interview conducted with the director, Molly Bennett. A copy of this report need to be placed in facility file for public review. A Notice of Site Visit was posted on parent board.
