On March 17, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst, Anita Tristan, and Licensing Program Manager, Cynthia Brannon arrived at center and met with Associate Program Director, Renee Benell. During today's inspection, LPA and LPM toured facility and took a census.

The purpose of today's inspection is due to receiving an Unusual Incident Report dated 10/7/22. Staff spoke inappropriately to an infant and scared infant by wearing a mask. LPM Brannon conducted a previous inspection to interview staff on 11/17/22 and on 12/1/22 to complete staff interviews. Licensee placed staff #1 and staff #2 on paid administrative leave. During this time, staff #1 and staff #2 resigned and were hired at another licensed facility. LPM Brannon interviewed staff #1 and #2 at another Child Care Center, regarding the incident.

Based on the information obtained, this appears to be an isolated incident and Licensee took appropriate measures to address the incident and followed appropriate reporting requirements.

Per Title 22, Division 12, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.

Exit interview conducted with Associate Program Director, Renee Benell. This report is to be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 day.
