25 | An unannounced Required-3 year inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst Patricia Musso today. This center is located on the south east premises of Pyle Elementary School.
A tour of this pre school center facility was conducted inside and outside. Due to parent teacher conferences, there were no children in attendance at the time of this inspection.
The following areas are in compliance:
There are no bodies of water, fire arms, weapons, ammunition, or poisons stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning compounds, and other hazardous items are inaccessible to children. Furniture and equipment are sufficient, age appropriate and in good repair. The playground equipment and outdoor activity space is maintained and in good condition. Areas around/under climbing and play structures has sufficient cushion to absorb falls.
Children's toilets, hand washing facilities are safe and sanitary. Rooms are safe and clean. Breakfasts and lunches are prepared, served, and eaten in the elementary school cafeteria. Menus are posted. Trash cans with solid waste have tight fitting lids. Sanitary drinking water is available inside and out with drinking faucets. The facility is in compliance with conditions and limitations specified on the license. Teacher/child ratios are maintained and adequate supervision is being provided during this visit. No excluded individuals are present. Staff subject to a criminal record clearance or exemption are associated to the facility. Emergency information/medical assessment reviewed for some children.
Maria said she does not have any children in need of Incidental Medical Services, but she does understand that an IMS plan is needed to be submitted to CCL if there is ever a child in need of IMS. This facility operates two half day programs; Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 11:00 am and 11:30 am - 2:30 pm. |
