On 5/25/23, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Joseph Pacheco and Paul Garcia conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPAs met with Site Supervisor, Susan McDonald and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. The purpose of the inspection was to follow up on the case management inspection conducted on 3/23/23 to verify that corrections were made and to measure classrooms 7 and 8. Classrooms 1 through 6 and the outdoor activity area were measured on 3/23/23. This facility is requesting a capacity increase from 135 to 175 preschool children. Room measurements for classrooms 1 through 8 were reviewed with Site Supervisor. The total inside preschool area of classrooms one through eight measured to an approximate 7,369 square feet. The outside square footage measured to an approximate 14,321 square feet which will accommodate the requested capacity of 175 preschool children.

During today's inspection LPAs observed the following items have been corrected:

Inside
· Anchor cubbies and tall furniture in all classrooms to prevent from tipping over.
· Repair roof leak in the new building that will house Classrooms 7 and 8.
· Finish setting up the furniture in the new building that will house Classrooms 7 and 8 and arrange each classroom so that it’s ready to provide care and supervision to children.

Play yard
· Install a gate or other fixture connecting the storage shed to the fence in the southwest corner of the outdoor play area so that it will prevent children from going behind the storage shed.

A fire clearance of 175 preschool children was approved and granted by the City of Fresno Fire Department on September 20, 2022. Pending a final file review, a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for the requested capacity of 175 preschool children.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor, Susan McDonald.

This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
