25 | On 2/10/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conducted a Case Management inspection and met with Director Michele Van Ornum. The purpose of this inspection is to discuss an incident that occurred on 8/13/2021.,
On 8/13/2021, a day the school was closed for teacher in-service and cleaning , a spot of mold was found in the toddler room on the wall. The Director contacted a plumbing company who instructed the staff on proper cleaning solutions to use which was completed by staff. A construction company was then called to evaluate if dry wall damage occurred which it had. On 9/3/2021, 9/4/2021 and 9/5/2021, the construction company repaired the dry wall damage and left a fan to dehumidify the room. No children were present during the repair work. The fan was not operating while children were present. On 9/11/2021, the wall was repainted and all work was completed.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency is cited today. Notice of Site Inspection to be posted for 30 days. |
