25 | On March 23, 2021, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Juvenal Moctezuma & Cynthia Brannon conducted an announced case management inspection and met with Site Supervisor, Susan Collins and Teacher on Special Assignment (TSA), Kim Beckwith. The center installed new fencing around its outdoor perimeter to help secure the outdoor play area. The additional fencing was added to the top of the existing cinder block wall that encloses the outdoor area so no square footage was taken or added from the children's play area. The fencing was installed with no children on site. LPAs toured the outdoor play area and observed the fencing and outdoor play area. The fence looks secure and Susan stated that it will prevent outsiders from coming into the playground. During the tour LPAs observed several holes in the pour n play in the children's playground. Susan stated that she has placed a work order to get the holes repaired so they're not a tripping hazard to children. Susan also stated that they will clean out the garden area before children arrive on April 6th since there are broken cinder blocks and overgrown weeds.
