25 | LPA Diana Martinez conducted an unannounced case management inspection today and was met by licensees Elvia and Salvador Padilla. There were two day care children present today. The purpose of today's inspection was to inspect the outdoor play area under carport on the north side of the house. Licensees' assistant forwarded photos to LPA on April 12, 2019, as proof that furniture pieces had been removed and outdoor space was ready for use. Upon entering property, however, LPA noticed a large dumpster full of debris on the north side of the front yard next to outdoor play area. Licensee Salvador indicated that the outdoor play area is off limits once again as he is cleaning out the backyard and was able to use the dumpster for free. He anticipates finishing the backyard clean-up and returning the dumpster in one week so the outdoor space will be accessible to daycare children. Licensees will contact LPA when outdoor space is ready for re-inspection.
LPA and licensees discussed safe sleep and pest control services that will be provided monthly. LPA verified mandated reporter certificates.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies cited during today's visit.
An exit interview conducted with licensee Salvador Padilla and a copy of this report was provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit Form (LIC 9213) was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days. |
