Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diana Martinez conducted a case management inspection initiated by licensee. LPA was met by licensee Elvira Ochoa. Also present were licensee’s husband/assistant Jose Gomez Lopez, son/assistant Brandon Gomez Ochoa, and licensee’s two minor children over age 10. Eight day care children were present today. The purpose of today's inspection was to approve the recent room addition to the home that will now be the main day care area. Licensee provided a copy of the City of Parlier permit for the 233 square foot residential addition and a new facility sketch. Adjacent to addition is home office/game room (bedroom #4) made inaccessible with a child safety plastic door knob cover. Addition has a ceiling with insulated full walls, new electric outlets, one electric fan, lights, electric AC/heater, and tile flooring. Licensee indicated that new day care room addition will be accessed from within the home only. The other accessible rooms will remain the living room, dining area, kitchen and hall bathroom, and the off-limit rooms are made inaccessible with child safety plastic door knob covers. LPA reviewed the city permit, toured the new day care addition, other accessible rooms, and exterior of home and found it to be safe for the day care children's use.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies cited during today's visit.

An exit interview conducted with licensee Elvira Ochoa and a copy of this report was provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit Form (LIC 9213) was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days.
