25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a Case Management- Licensee Initiated inspection. Present at time of inspection was Licensee, Hilda Rosales and eight day care children. Licensee, her husband and three minor children reside in the home. The purpose of today's inspection was due to a second fire inspection clearance that was requested by Fresno Community Care Licensing due to a modification licensee conducted to the underground swimming pool fence The new fence that was installed is to make on sliding door and two windows leading to the underground swimming pool inaccessible to the day care children. Fire clearance was granted on July 5, 2019.
During today's inspection, LPA observed that there is a black iron fence that is in accordance with Title 22 Regulations and blocks direct access to the master bedroom sliding door and the two master bathroom windows that lead to the underground swimming pool. LPA observed that the gate is self-latching/self-closing and swings away from the pool. Licensee also provided LPA with a copy of her Preventative Health and Safety certification that was completed on July 8, 2019.
The home meets the description of a safe and healthy environment for children as described in Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and is adequate for a Large Family Day Care Home (LFDCH). Licensure as a Large Family Day Care Home capacity of 14 children will be recommended effective July 22, 2019.
During exit interview, LPA observed licensee post the Notice of Site Visit on parent’s board and understands it must remain posted for 30 days and retain evaluation report for 3 years. |
