25 | On 3/9/23 at 12:05 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) J. Helton and P. DiGenovia made a case management inspection and met with Site Supervisor Carol Silva . The inspection was made in response to water lead testing results received from the California State Water Resource Control Board. The test results showed that the following faucets tested above the allowable level (5.5 ppb or greater) of lead in the water:
Drinking Faucet A tested at 9.4
Drinking Faucet D tested at 11
Drinking Faucet H tested at 14
All faucets were covered and turned off until corrective actions were completed. Notifications were provided to staff and parents. The faucets are going to be replaced and retested. .
The following deficiency is being cited (see LIC 809D). A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
