25 | On 8/25/22 at 11:10am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Emilia Grisak. This program is operated by E Center Head Start and located within the Glenn County Fairgrounds. This is a migrant seasonal head start program operates June - November, Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 5:00 pm. The facility was toured at 11:35am inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. This is an infant license with a toddler option. Infant program operates in portable #1 and toddler program operates in portable #2.
There were two staff supervising four napping infants in portable #1 and two staff supervising four napping toddlers in portable #2. The facility is operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises.
Eight children's records were reviewed at 11:45am. Four staff records were reviewed at 12:35pm.
Center Education Supervisor was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records.
