On 11/09/2022, at 8:30 AM, a closing complaint investigation visit was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lynch. It has been alleged staff dragged a child out of a room. Three staff (S1-S3) and three children (C1-C3) were interviewed on 10/13/2022, and there were no disclosures. Three parents (P1-P3) were interviewed on 11/04/2022, and there were no disclosures. Both the Site Supervisor and Owner/Licensee denied the allegation, and stated staff never use inappropriate or rough disciplinary methods for children at the center. During the complaint inspection visits, LPA observed the facility was providing adequate care and supervision to children, and did not observe any inappropriate or rough discipline methods towards children. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, appeal rights provided, and notice of site visit posted.
