On May 28, 2023 at 10:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Gloria Gonzalez conducted a complaint inspection to deliver findings and met with Site Supervisor, Isabel Garcia regarding the above allegation. LPA advised Garcia of the purpose of the inspection and conducted a tour of the facility. There were 37 daycare children and 6 staff members present during the inspection.

On 3/12/24, Community Care Licensing (CCL) received a complaint alleging staff handled a daycare child in a rough manner by grabbing and squeezing a childs arm. During the course of the investigation interviews were conducted with Site Supervisor, Director, 8 staff members, 8 daycare parents, and 8 daycare children. All children and parents interviewed expressed satisfaction with the care provided by the facility and no statements or evidence were obtained to support the allegation.

There was no corroborating evidence regarding the allegation. Due to conflicting information obtained from the interviews, and although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore the above allegation is found to be unsubstantiated.

No deficiencies cited.

A copy of this report and appeal rights (LIC 9058) was provided to Garcia. LPA observed Licensee post LIC9213 – Notice of Site Visit and Garcia was advised this notice is to be posted for 30 days from today’s date. An exit interview was conducted with Site Supervisor, Isabel Garcia.
