13 | On 08/25/21 at 11:30AM, LPAs Luigi Gargaro and Claudia Amador, conducted an unannounced complaint visit to the facility to deliver the findings for the above allegations. During the course of the complaint investigation, analysts conducted interviews with the reporting party, the facility director and staff, day care parents and children in care.
Based on the information gathered, while evidence indicated children in care have outdoor time based on daily weather conditions and that director and staff don't exceed reasonable play time in high temperatures, analysts could not conclusively prove or disprove that facility always without failure met this requirement including an incident in which a child was reported to have been waiting outside with a staff member rather than inside during pickup.
It could also not be proved or disproved that day care staff is provided with adequate training to work at the facility. While staff has informal staff "shadowing", there is little else in the form of additional formal training and It could not be conclusively determined whether this may or may not have an effect on how staff interacts with children at different levels of need. |
