25 | On June 8, 2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kari McWilliams conducted an unannounced case management visit with Licensee. LPA McWilliams toured the facility inside and out and a census was taken.
LPA McWilliams informed Licensee the purpose of the visit was due to the facility being on a required list following a noncompliance conference on February 25, 2019 in response to care and supervision incidents that were reported to the Department in 2017 and 2019.
LPA McWilliams toured the facility, interviewed Director Wendy Mayes and interviewed staff on care and supervision expectations as well as policies and procedures for supervision and training provided to staff.
During the todays inspection LPA McWilliams did not observe any concerns with care and supervision. Staff interviewed all confirmed training and supervision expectations that were in alignment with the Licensee's policy and procedures and the outlined expectations that were in the noncompliance conference summary.
Licensee confirmed that the classroom 122 is no longer being used by the preschool and has been removed from the facility sketch. The classroom was never used as a classroom and only a nap room, children now nap in the classrooms.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Alicia Howard
