25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Harris conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction visit today. LPA met with Site Supervisor 1, Racquel Lopez.
The purpose of todays visit is to review staff files in order to clear the previous deficiency cited on 10/15/19. LPA observed all staff files to have required documents available for review. Ms. Lopez also showed the LPA that each classroom now has complete first aid kits instead of refilling the "fanny packs" with supplies as they previously did. Ms. Lopez also stated that they are taking further steps to ensure the playground is safe when the children are playing outside. The teachers are making sure that trash is picked up throughout the play ground and they are removing the trash can out of the playground area when they are using it. Ms. Lopez also stated that they are checking that cob webs are not present on play structures. They continue to work with the school site as they share the play ground with the kindergarten and transitional kindergarten classrooms.
During the visit the LPA provided a Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared. Exit interview was conducted with Racquel Lopez.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency was cited during today's visit.
