On 1/23/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Barbara Beneroso conducted an unannounced case management inspection regarding - Lead Testing/Exceedance Levels. LPA Beneroso met with Meghan Hall-Silveira who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. The purpose of today's inspection is to conduct a case management inspection, and to notify facility there has been a lead exceedance results reporting an Action Level Exceedance (ALE) of over 5.5 parts per billion (ppb) in the water at the facility.

Palmdale Regional Office received notification of water lead exceedance at the facility resulting from a water lead sampling test on 12/22/2022. Based on the records reviewed water outlet (G) has an ALE of 19.2 ppb and water outlet and (H) has an ALE of 6.61 ppb. . These areas in Room Four and Five have lead exceeding the Action Level Exceedance (ALE) of over 5.5 parts per billion (ppb) in the water.

The identified areas on the facility sketch as (G) and (H) are not utilized for drinking water nor food preparation due to the classrooms being only used for storage. Facility provides clean water in IGLOOs to fill individual water bottles that children bring from home. During inspection, Director Meghan Hall-Silveira notified authorized children's representatives of exceedance results and posted notice visible to parents.
