25 | On 02/28/22, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Juvenal Moctezuma & Jessika Thompson conducted an unannounced case Management inspection and met with Site supervisor, Cindy Diaz and discussed the purpose of the inspection and a tour of the center was conducted both inside. Census were taken.
Upon arrival, LPAs observed the center gate next to the parking lot where parents enter from to be opened due to construction work being done at facility. After meeting with site supervisor, Cindy it was confirmed that the center is getting repainted and the facility's roof is being pressured washed. LPAs observed children playing outside while construction workers were walking around the premises. LPAs notified Cindy that the licensee should have called licensing to notify the department that changes are being done to the facility and workers who are not associated to the facility will be at the premises while children are in care. LPAs explained that if changes are going to be made during hours of operation then the facility has to make sure that children don't have direct access to these areas or workers. Cindy understood.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, The following deficiency was cited during todays inspection.
An exit interview conducted with Licensee/Director Cindy Diaz. A copy of this report and appeal rights were provided to Licensee/Director, Cindy Diaz. |
