On 1/16/2020 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Isabel Ortega conducted a Case Management inspection for the purpose of a capacity increase. The LPA was greeted by Center Director Giovanni Aragon who guided the LPA on a tour of the Center. The hours of operation are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday serving children ages of 2 years to 6 years.

The center is currently licensed for a capacity of 62 children. The LPA inspected classroom A, B, and C and observed furniture and equipment to be age appropriate and in good repair. Each classroom was found to be clean and safe. Telephone service was verified. LPA observed age appropriate toys and materials. Flooring and carpet were inspected and clean. A drinking fountain is available inside the classroom for children to drink. Trash cans/storage containers for solid waste had tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair.

LPA inspected and observed a bathroom inside classroom A, B, and C. The classroom has two toilets and two sinks. The bathroom was observed to be clean and sanitary. Toilets and sinks are functioning properly and are age appropriate. LPA observed soap, toilet paper and paper towels readily available. Water temperature was tested and is appropriate.

LPA observed a carbon monoxide and smoke detector combination installed and is in operating conditions according to State Fire Marshal standards in each classroom. There is a fire extinguisher located by the entrance of each classroom, last serviced date 7/10/2019. Cleaning solutions, toxins, and detergents are stored in a locked cabinet and inaccessible to children.
