25 | An unannounced case management inspection is conducted this date by Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Alice Juarez and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gloria Reyes. LPM Juarez and LPA Reyes met with Site Supervisor, Erin Marcoux. A tour of the facility was conducted inside and outside. LPM and LPA toured classrooms #105 and #104. Classroom #102 is currently not being used.
The purpose of today's visit was to inspect the climber located on the play yard. Both LPM and LPA observed the age sticker requirement to be for ages 5 to 12 years old. The play structure equipment is not age appropriate. LPM informed Ms. Marcoux that the preschool children will not be able to use the climber. The facility will have to ensure that the preschool children do not use the climber when the children are outside.
LPA was provided an updated Designation of Facility Responsibility (LIC 308). Ms. Marcoux will be submitting the Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610) and the Playground Waiver at a later date. The "Egress Path Marking" on the doors that exit to the outside play yard are now being painted.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency was cited during today's visit.
An exit interview conducted with Site Supervisor, Erin Marcoux and a copy of this report was provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit Form was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days. |
