On 02/13/2020, at 8:45 AM Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Esequiel Rodriguez made an unannounced Required inspection at the Sanchez Alicia Family Child Care Home facility. The purpose for the inspection is to inspect the facility to ensure the facility meets licensing requirements set forth by Title 22 and statutory requirements. The LPA met with Licensee's granddaughter Jocelyn Rodriguez and stated the purpose for the inspection.

Ms. Rodriguez stated that Licensee Alicia Sanchez is out of country and will not be back until the end of the month. She stated that generally her grandparents (Licensee) go to Mexico during this time of the year, almost every year.

At the time of the inspection there were no children in care, and because the Licensee is out of Country the facility is not providing day care services until the Licensee returns. Ms. Rodriguez stated that she does not know were the required Day Care Files are located. Thus, she would not be able to provide them for inspection. Ms. Rodriguez stated that when her grandparents are in the home, and children are present, they provide a very safety and healthy environment to all the children in care and ensure the children are supervised at all times.

At 09:30 AM LPA Rodriguez along with Ms. Rodriguez conducted an inspection tour of the inside and out of the facility physical plant. The entire facility is very clean, orderly, safe and sanitary, and with appropriate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The home is a single story home it consists of two bedrooms, master bedroom, two bathrooms, laundry room, living room, kitchen, dining area, front and backyard, carport, and a garage (converted garage that is used as a studio apartment)

There are no bodies of water. However, there is an empty water fountain in the front yard. The Carbon Monoxide, Fire Extinguisher and smoke detectors are present, are fully operational, and meet State Fire Marshall standards. The play area is free from defects or dangerous conditions and fenced.
