25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gloria Reyes conducted a Case Management inspection - Licensee Initiated. LPA was met by Licensee, Juana Munoz who is caring for two children. Licensee is Spanish speaking.
The purpose of today's inspection is to inspect the recent room addition to the home that will now be the main day care area. This room consists of the main day care room, a bathroom, and a counter with a sink. There are three doors that serve as an exit and entrance into this room. Parents will enter the facility from the front side door. The back door that leads to the outdoor play area will remain off limits to day care children. Licensee will contact CCL when she is ready to use this space. The French doors that lead into the main home has been made inaccessible to children by use of a key lock. The below cabinet doors (bathroom and sink area) have secured magnetic locks. This area is kept clean and orderly with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The required forms are posted. Fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector are operable and in place.
Licensee provided a copy of the updated Facility Sketch and the City of Delano approval permit for the room addition. LPA reviewed city permit and found the room addition to be safe for day care children use.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiency cited.
An exit interview conducted with Licensee Juana Munoz and a copy of this report was provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit Form (LIC 9213) was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days. |
