25 | Today 6/10/2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ruby Ocegueda conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction inspection for the purposes of reviewing deficiencies cited on 5/27/2021 regarding Buildings and Grounds. LPA met with owner/licensee Carrie Risk, conducted a Covid-19 screening today and a census was taken upon arrival.
On 5/27/2021, during a case management inspection, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ocegueda observed a pizza cutter in an accessible kitchen drawer, disinfectants under an unlocked sink cabinet, a sharp gardening tool and painting materials in an accessible utility closet. Both kitchen and closets were supposed to be made inaccessible by way of closed gates but were not. Licensee was cited a type B citation for these deficiencies on 5/27/2021.
Today, 6/10/2021, during a tour of the facility, 6/10/2021, LPA Ocegueda observed that the kitchen and closets were made inaccessible by way of gates that were closed properly. As an extra measure, the gate near the closet had a metal latch and the closets were closed and secured with a metal latch as well. The kitchen was made inaccessible by way of baby gate. Licensee also had plastic safety latches for the kitchen sink cabinet.
Deficiency cited on 5/27/2021 was cleared by observation today.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited today.
