25 | On March 16, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection, was licensee, her assistant, her minor daughter, and three day care children. Licensee, her father, her mother and three minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on December 22, 2023. Licensee’s Assistant, Lazaro Lucero completed the training through American Red Cross and expires on February 16, 2024. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on February 28, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on March 15, 2022. Fire alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed a high chair. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right hand side of the day care room wall.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
