32 | Licensee stated that she has never left a child in dirty and soiled clothing. Licensee stated that she always has extra clean clothing just in case the parent's don't bring extra clothing. Licensee stated that she always treats all the children with dignity and respect and has never yelled and C1 and C2, she gives the children lots of love, all the children seem very happy and love it there. Licensee stated that children have never contracted food poisoning while in her care. Licensee stated that she makes fresh food every day and that she belongs to the Food Program at NCO (North Coast Opportunities) and staff come out to inspect the meals. Licensee stated that children have not contacted lice while in her care. Licensee stated that she was having an issue with C1 and C2, they were coming to day care with lice and right away she would call the parent to pick C1 and C2 so they will not contracted to the other children. Licensee stated that the issue has been resolved due to she told C1 and C2's parent that she will not accept the children if they have lice.
An interview was conducted with Parent 1 (P1) on 4/08/21 at 12:30 PM.
During the tele-inspections, the LPA did not observe any of the children in dirty or soiled clothing, nor being mistreated. LPA observed Licensee and assistant, spouse supervising all the day care children in a large play room and the children seemed very happy. Licensee and assistant were giving the day care children a lot of their attention.
Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegations are Unsubstantiated.
LS’s signature was not recorded on this Complaint Investigation Report (CIR), however, this report was reviewed and discussed with LS, LS was provided with a copy of this CIR; and Appeal Rights, LS’s signature will be on file. All licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years.
There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's video inspection. |
