25 | An announced Increase in Capacity second site inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Cynthia Reyes and Michelle Sanchez to inspect and measure the two previous preschool class rooms for capacity determination due to an isolation area being built inside the lady bug (age group 3 year olds) class room. This center was previously licensed for 21 preschool children and is seeking to provide care for an additional eight (8) preschoolers. The preschool will operate from Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The facility has 3 classrooms. In the main building is the Lady bugs (3 year olds) and the Caterpillar (2 year olds) classroom and in the separate new addition small building (same address) is the Butterflies (4 year olds) classroom.
Measurements taken today of the Lady bugs with the isolation area and the Caterpillar classrooms determine a capacity of 19 preschool children. Fire clearance was received and approved for 8 more Preschool for total a total capacity of 29.
Based on measurements taken today of 18 preschool children in the Lady bugs and Caterpillar classroom and with the new classroom (Butterflies) added is approved for 29. Measurements of the Butterflies classroom allows for an additional 13 preschoolers. No Corrections are needed as of today and increase is approved for 29 preschool children.
During this inspection LPA discussed PIN 20-06 CCP, Social And Physical Distancing Guidance And Healthy Practices For Child Care Facilities In Response To The Global Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic Written In Collaboration With The California Department Of Education. LPA reviewed with the applicant the Child Care Covid-19 Self Assessment document and the PIN 20-06 CCP that was printed on this date and given to the applicant.
Exit interview conducted with Director, Janette Nulty and a signed copy of this report was provided along with the notice of site visit and appeal rights. All precautionary measures were taken by LPA and by facility staff during this inspection. |
