25 | On 12/20/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Isabel Ortega conducted an unannounced annual random inspection. The LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by Licensee who guided the LPA on a tour of the home. Upon entry to the facility the LPA observe one child in care.
This is a one-story single-family home. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, two restrooms, family room, and a shed in the back yard. Main care is provided in the family room referred to as the Child Care Play area. Licensee provides children with mats and playpen(infant) for napping. The off-limits areas are the three bedrooms, one restroom, the kitchen, the living room, dining room, and the shed in the back yard which is utilized for storage (maintained key locked). According to Licensee she participates in the Food Nutrition Program. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner as needed.
The operational child care hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. Knives and medication are kept inaccessible to children. Cleaning supplies and chemicals are kept under the sink and are inaccessible to children in care. |
