32 | There are currently 23 children enrolled. Two staff (Site Supervisor and Associate Teacher) are assigned at this site to ensure that teacher-child ratios are in compliance at all times. An additional floating staff is provided to provide breaks. Roster was available and up to date. An Emergency Disaster Drill log is kept. The program conducts routine emergency drills (last recorded 4/19). Per staff, a wellness check is conducted upon arrival. Sign in and out sheets and procedures were reviewed. Children are signed in by parents upon arrival. All children physically present were observed to be signed in.
Criminal Record Clearances are a contingency for hire. All clearances are associated to the Ynez Administrative File #191592586. Mandated Reporter Training Certificate and new immunization requirements are also a requirement for hire. More information can be found at: http:/www.mandatedreporterca.com/training /training.htm. All licensed providers, applicants, directors and employees are required to complete training as specified on the mandated reporter duties and to renew their training every two years. Volunteers are encouraged but not required to take the training. Please review all elements outlined in AB 1207- Mandated Reporting Training.
Menus were reviewed for availability, quantity and appropriateness to children in care. The program offers one meal (lunch) provided by Options Food Program which follows mandated Federal Food Guidelines. Meal menus, license, car seat law, parents' rights for centers, emergency disaster plan and all other posting requirements were observed.
