Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seung Lee conducted a case management inspection. Upon arrival LPA Lee met with facility administrator Christina Moore who provided a tour. The purpose of the inspection was to approved the pending update application for the preschool program. The facility intends to move the children and staff of the preschool program to a new building. The application does not request any change in the overall capacity. The current building for the preschool program will need to be renovated per administrator. The staff and children will reside in the new building for about 1 year before they move back after the planned renovations are completed.

During the inspection, LPA Lee was provided a full tour of the new building. Per Administrator the building was previously used by the facility for its residential program. LPA Lee observed that the entrance and exit of the building has been set up so that building is inaccessible to any residents or staff not related to the preschool license. Outdoor play space was observed to have shade and gated for isolation. During the tour, LPA Lee observed that the new building has a total of 4 classrooms that will be used for indoor activities. LPA Lee observed that the restroom inside the building had 4 private toilets and 8 sinks. A Director's office, staff restroom, and an additional restroom for ill children was also observed during the inspection. The new building was observed to have overhead lighting and windows in each classroom. 3 of the classrooms was observed to have central heating and air. One classroom was observed to have AC mounted above a window. The building has a kitchen which will used to prepare meals and snacks made in the main kitchen of the facility and brought over.

The measurements for the indoor and outdoor activity space was recorded during the inspection. The number of toilets and sinks were also recorded during the inspection. Fire Clearance has been approved for 60 children and has been received by the regional office. Based on all of these factors the capacity of 60 children will be granted.
