25 | This was a case management inspection conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ariel Cazares, due to COVID-19 and precautionary measures. This case management inspection was conducted with Director Lori Munoz via a tele-inspection by use of Zoom for the purpose of inspecting an additional room to be added for temporary use as a classroom.
At 10:00am LPA was guided through a tour of the facility. The facility is currently closed and there are no children in care at this time, therefore LPA did not observe any children. LPA was taken on tour of the classrooms, the outdoor playgrounds, and proposed computer room to be used as an additional classroom. This space will be used for purposes of complying with orders related to social distancing. The facility is not increasing their capacity and will continue to operate within capacity limits and conditions. The computer room was inspected. The facility will arrange and set up children's furniture prior to reopening in August. Photos will be sent to LPA of the set up prior to use by children. There is a carbon monoxide detector in the facility that was functional. The fire extinguisher shows a service tag of Jun 6, 2020. LPA did not observe any hazards or need for correction during the inspection.
Based on the documents submitted and the inspection on this date, the facility is in compliance and the computer room may be added as a temporary basis, pending photos of final set up. This does not grant an increase to the license.
Exit interview was conducted with Director Lori Munoz via tele-inspection. This report along with a copy of the appeal rights will be sent to the director via email with a read receipt or confirmation of receipt of email, which will act as the Applicants/Licensee’s signature. A copy of the signed report will also be sent to the Department. |
