32 | Outdoor area and equipment was inspected for safety, cushioning material, condition and age appropriateness. Required shade, drinking water and fencing were inspected. Play area was inspected for hazards and inaccessibility to bodies of water.
Snack/lunch menus were reviewed. Food and snacks were reviewed for availability, quantity and appropriateness to children in care. Food preparation areas were toured for safety, cleanliness. A review of cleaning and food supply storage areas was made. LPA inspected First Aid kit’s supplies and completeness. All required postings were observed in each classroom. Staff have current CPR/1st Aid certificates posted. Disaster drills were conducted in January 2020.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. Currently there are no children in care with IMS needs. Children's files and sign in and out sheets were reviewed. LPAs observed that in McKinley 2 (first bungalow) 9 of the 15 children present were signed in and 6 children were not signed in on this date. Names of children were noted.

An exit interview was conducted and appeal procedures explained and provided. A copy of this report was provided to the Site Supervisor, Priscilla Perteet. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. |
