Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Bardo Baluyot conducted an unannounced required annual inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Tamera Pinelo. LPA was guided on a tour of the facility including all indoor and outdoor areas. This is a preschool program with a toddler option licensed for (60) children, up to (44) preschoolers and (16) toddlers. During the tour, LPA observed that there was an infant program (191598412) located on the premises that is physically separate from the preschool program both indoors and outdoors. This licensed facility is also located on a shared campus with Almansor Academy.

There is a total of (2) preschool classrooms and (1) toddler option classroom. Staff names were recorded. All preschoolers and toddlers were observed by LPA to be under visual supervision of a teacher at all times. LPA observed 52 children present during the inspection. Per Director, all food is provided by the parents and observed to be properly labeled and facility only provides milk. Sign in and out sheets were reviewed. At this time, the office is used as an isolation area.

Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. There is telephone service, heating, lighting and proper ventilation. Napping equipment and bedding are good condition and is storage appropriately. Personal storage space for children's belongings is available. The toilets and sinks are age appropriate, are in good repair, safe and are sanitary. All storage containers for solid waste have tight-fitting covers that are kept on and are in good repair. There is drinking water available via sippy cups.

Outdoor playground equipment is in good condition, free of sharp, or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe and is free of hazards. All areas around or under climbing equipment and similar equipment cushioned with material to absorbs a fall. There is adequate shade provided in the play yard.

This facility already offers Incidental Medical Services (IMS) to children that require it. Policy for IMS services already on file per Director. Staff records were reviewed to ensure that each file contains a Personnel Record, Qualifications and verification of CPR/First Aid and health preventative practices documentation. Children’s records were reviewed to ensure that each child has an Emergency and Identification form on file.

No deficiencies are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22.



Exit interview was conducted with Director, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agencies Consultative Role.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213)must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
