25 | At 9:15 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced required 1-year inspection to the above facility. A COVID risk assessment was conducted upon entry and appropriate PPE was used. LPA met with Licensee, Margo Haber, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 15 children currently enrolled. There were 13 children and 2 assistants present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 2 adults and 0 children currently live in the home. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a two-story home. Downstairs is available to children and consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, den, kitchen, and laundry area. The second floor, which is off-limits, has a gate on the stairs to make the upstairs inaccessible to children. The second floor of the home contains an office, master bedroom and bathroom. The backyard contains a play/daycare room, storage shed locked with a key lock, jacuzzi with child safety locks, and a covered patio. There is a front yard, which is off-limits to children in care.
Licensee guided analyst on a tour of the facility at 9:30 am. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
