On 06/20/2023 at 9:20 a.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Doris Whitmore conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering findings for a complaint investigation regarding the allegation above. LPA met with Kathy Sultan and observed 36 children and 6 staff at the time of the visit.
On 03/30/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Doris Whitmore initiated the complaint investigation and met with Director Kathy Sultan. LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors. LPA observed a total of 47 children and 11 staff at the time of the visit. LPA took pictures of the facility, obtained Guardian Print out, Class List, Parent Handbook, 2022-2023. Personnel Report, Current Facility Roster 2021-2023. For the complaint investigation LPA Whitmore, interviewed the Director, Staff, Grounds Keeper, and children.
The Department conducted a full investigation, which included interviews with relevant parties, as well as record review, including documentation as related to the allegation. With the information obtained and interviews conducted the investigation did not provide sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation.
The gates are open for the drop off and pick up with the children being constantly supervised.

Once the gate is closed access is gained by contacting the school for entry. Based upon interviews and documents reviewed it did not appear that staff do not provide a safe environment for day care children. No deficiency cited. Copy of report and Notice of Site visit issued.
