32 | Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. . LPA tested the carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors during inspection. LPA observed fire extinguishers and first aid kits in each classroom. LPA observed age-appropriate play equipment in the outside play area. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards.
LPA completed file reviews for children and staff. Children and staff files were complete. LPA observed more than one staff with current cpr and pediatric first aid certification. LPA observed proper sign in/out documentation. Director stated the facility does not have menus posted due to the children bringing lunch and snack from home.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.

Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
