13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Warren Birks conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver findings for the above allegation. LPA met with Director Lisa Clinton who assisted with providing information and assisted with the overall inspection.
During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews with children and staff. LPA also reviewed policies regarding covid safety precautions. LPA received no disclosures indicating anyone witnessed the allegation and therefore it was not corroborated. Staff indicated that the complaint is more about an individual or individuals who disagreed with the Los Angeles (L.A.) County Covid guidelines.
Staff informed LPA that the facility is required to operate under the L.A County guidlines. However, operating under those guidelines may have caused awkwardness among individuals who may disagree. However, staff communicated that regardless of differing viewpoints (on the County Guidlines); all children at the facility are treated with love and respect. CONTINUED
