This was Case Management inspection conducted on 1/6/21 at 10:00 AM by Denise Gibbs, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA). Due to COVID-19 and precautionary measures, this Case Management Inspection was conducted with Melissa Clayton, Director via a tele-inspection by use of Facetime for the purpose of a capacity increase.

LPA conducted a follow-up tele-inspection to discuss COVID-19 self-assessment and precautionary measures. Director provided LPA with completed self-assessment on 1/6/21. The following was discussed:

Essential Protective Equipment and Supplies- Facility has a contact-less thermometer and a supply of disposable face coverings, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant cleaning supplies. Staff are wearing face covering throughout the day and using glove during meal times and while cleaning. Children are offered masks and encouraged to use them if they choose to.
Cleaning- Per Director tots are cleaning daily and a "used toy" bucket is utilized for dirty toys until they can be cleaned. High touched areas are cleaned daily and as needed during the day. Per Director the facility is deep cleaned nightly. Toys and material are rotated daily and cloth/fabric toys are not being used.
Hygiene- Per Director children will are encouraged to was their hands for 20 seconds throughout the day very often. Teachers use song cards to help children wash for appropriate amount if time. Facility has the advised children's hand washing and germs posting at the children's level. Per Director personal items are placed in individual cubbies. Personal items have been limited to lunch and bedding. The isolation area for a sick child waiting to be picked up is in the Directors office or a room next to the office.
Arrival Procedures- Per Director parents are dropping off/picking up at the front entrance. Staff do daily temperature checks and health screening at the front gate, as parents are not allowed to enter the facility. New families have been allowed to walk new children to their classrooms after parents are also screened for symptoms and use face coverings. COVID-19 posters and resources will be posted in the front entrance accessible to parents. Parents were be made aware of the COVID-19 policies and exclusion procedures before facility reopening through the "Campus Yellow Plan" which they also signed.---------------Page 1

Group Size- Per Director there is usually six to eight children per classroom at the moment..
Distancing/Meals/Sleep/Outdoors- Meals are brought from home, when help is needed teachers wear gloves to provide assistance. Facility utilizes small groups, individual centers, tape on the table and Velcro dots on the carpet to promote social distancing. During nap time there is ample space to distance cots due to low group size. Children play outdoors in small group and doors and windows are left open wen possible for fresh air.

At this time, the facility is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no deficiencies being issued today.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative.

Exit interview was conducted with Melissa Clayton Director, via Facetime, during which appeal rights were explained. This report along with a copy of the appeal rights will be sent to the facility via email with a read receipt or confirmation of receipt of email, which will act as the Director's signature.
