25 | On 12/9/2020 at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Lillian Casillas conducted a virtual inspection with Anna Maggio, School Age Director, via FaceTime. The purpose of this inspection is to provide technical assistance and ensure the facility is safe for the care and supervision of children. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, a Licensed Child Care Centers Emergency Waiver was granted on 12/9//2020 for the facility to care for 24 children, ages six (6) to twelve (12), within the current capacity of 53 children, ages two (2) to five (5), in two unlicensed classrooms in cohorts of twelve (12) children. Children will not commingle with other age groups. Children will participate in remote learning. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM.
Fire Safety Clearance was issued on 11/19/2020. The facility will utilize the following classrooms for childcare: 110 and 207.
Check-in will take place in Room 101 (conference room) that is accessed via the parking lot. Parents sign in and sign out their children in this room. Staff takes the children's temperatures upon arrival. If a child develops COVID-19 symptoms during the day, the child will rest in the upstairs office on a designated "sick bed" or in the nursery that is currently not used. The Department of Public Health will be contacted in regard to any COVID-19 illness.
Children will bring their own lunch and eat at their desks. Children wash their hands before and after eating.
Classroom 110 is large and divided into two (2) separate remote learning areas. One side is for students in fifth, sixth and seventh grade. LPA Casillas observed six (6) desks spaced six (6) feet apart. LPA Casillas observed three (3) desks spaced 6 feet apart on the other side that is for second and third grade students.
