On 5/4/2023Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dalicia Adkins conducted a subsequent complaint visit regarding the above-listed allegations. LPA met with director Cassandra Roy. LPA explained the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility. LPA was guided on a tour of the facility there were four staff supervising 32 children.

The purpose of today’s visit 5/4/2023 is to deliver finding of allegations of staff hits day care children and staff handles day care children in an inappropriate manner.

On 2/22/2023 LPA interviewed staff and collected the following records: personnel report, center roster and children roster. Today's visit 5/4/2023 LPA interviewed director and additional children.

Throughout the investigation there was no disclosure of staff hitting day care children or staff handling day care children in an inappropriate manner. Based on observations, interviews and supportive records information was not revealed to approve or disapprove a violation of children’s personal rights. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above allegation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

In accordance with California Code of Child Care Title 22 regulation this facility did not receive any deficiencies during the course of this investigation.

This report reviewed with director and copy given. Notice of site visit given and must be posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and appeal rights given.
