Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
This facility is currently providing Incidental Medical Services - IMS. LPA Clayton instructed Assistant Director Reham to provide completed IMS plans to the Department for all children in care receiving services. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. Director was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
LPA Clayton reminded Director to access the Community Care Licensing website www.ccld.ca.gov for access to Provider Information Notices (PINs), Quarterly Updates, COVID-19 Information and Resources, Mandated Reporter Training, Safe Sleep in Child Care, Lead Poisoning Facts, Forms and Regulations. Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platforms.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations and/or Health and Safety Codes, no Deficiencies were cited.
Exit interview conducted, and report was reviewed with Director Susan and Assistant Director Reham. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
