25 | On 06/19/2024 at 8:50 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA)Katrina Chicote conducted an Unannounced Required – 3 Year inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Licensee, Eleanora Korol, who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. There were no day care children present during today’s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently 12 children enrolled. LIC 126 was provided and required documents were discussed and provided at time of inspection.
This is a single-story home which consists of two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Daycare Room, and Infant Room. Areas used by the children is the entire rear of the home which includes the Day Care Room, Infant Room, and half bathroom. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include front of the home which includes: all bedrooms, two bathrooms, Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room. LPA observed that there is a door with a lock that separates the front of the home, per Licensee this door remains closed and locked during operating hours, making this area off limits to children. LPA observed that entrance to Daycare Room is accessible through driveway gate and side door.
All areas identified on the by Licensee as accessible to children were inspected to ensure that they are clean and orderly with ventilation and heating for the safety of the children. LPA observed central air vents and AC wall unit in Day Care Room. There is a working telephone maintained in the home. At 8:52 AM, LPA observed age appropriate toys, free of loose and sharp parts such as wooden dramatic play equipment, books, puzzles, infant toys, and soft plush toys available at time of inspection. Licensee states that children bring their own food to the facility and use Day Care Room for eating. LPA observed there are high chairs and low tables and chairs available in Day Care Room well maintained as well as a refrigerator to store food if needed. At 8:55 AM, LPA observed Infant Room, to have three wooden cribs. Per Licensee's Husband, they currently have one infant enrolled.
