25 | On January 27, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced required 1-year inspection. LPAs met with Program Director, Leticia Cuevas who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. This is a preschool age program licensed for 68 children, which operates Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. LPA observed 52 children in care. There is also an infant license located at the facility, facility number 191804146.
The following classrooms were inspected: Toddler 2: 14 toddlers with 6 teacher, PreK 1: 19 children with 3 teachers and PreK 2: 19 children with 3 teachers. Teacher-child ratios were observed to be in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. Staff names were recorded. All children were observed to be under supervision, including visual supervision. Licensed facility is within the conditions, limitations, and capacity specified on the license.
The classroom furniture and equipment was inspected for good repair, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All indoor classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. All toilets and washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free.
The facility provides breakfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack and filtered water.
LPA observed that there are functioning smoke and carbon detectors in the facility. LPA observed a fully charged and serviced fire extinguisher. Emergency disaster drill was last conducted on 09/29/2022.
