25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection due to an incident that was reported to the Department on 2/25/2025. LPA met with Office Manager who stated that Principal Robin Hurdle is currently unavailable. Lead Teacher guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Census was taken.
On February 25th, 2025, an incident was self-reported to the Department via Email by the facility who reported that a child sustain an adverse effect to an insect bite resulting for medical treatment.
All reports were reported within the required 24 hours. The purpose of the inspection was to obtain additional information regarding the incident reported to the Department.
During the inspection, LPA Valenzuela conducted interview with staff. Per Staff, that there have been no additional cases of insect bites at the school, and the child returned to school with no restrictions. LPA did not observe insects on the premises during the tour.
LPA obtained copies of Doctor's note.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. No deficiencies cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with facility representative.
