On April 18, 2023 at 12:40PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced required 1-year inspection. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. LPA met with Child Development Specialist, Kamile Martin who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. This is a preschool age program which operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Per the Child Development Specialist there are 17 children enrolled. Facility also has a early head start preschool age program on the premises license number 191890342.

The following classrooms were inspected: Classroom 1: 15 children with 3 teachers. Teacher-child ratios were observed to be in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. Staff names were recorded. All children were observed to be under supervision, including visual supervision. Licensed facility is within the conditions, limitations, and capacity specified on the license.

The classroom furniture and equipment was inspected for good repair, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All indoor classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. All toilets and washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free.

The facility provides all meals and filtered water to children in care. The meals are provided by Chefables and the water comes from a filtered faucet in the facility that has been tested and cleared for lead. The kitchen was observed to be clean and the cleaning compounds/solutions were found to be stored away from the food.
