An unannounced Annual Random Inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) A. Lucero. LPA met with Assistant Brittany Castellon as licensee was unavailable at the initial start of the inspection. LPA was taken on a guided tour of the facility by assistant. Licensee arrived at 2:21pm to conclude inspection with LPA. This is a single story, three bedroom, one bathroom home. Currently residing in the home are two adults (Licensee and spouse) and no minors. Present at the time of inspection was Assistant #1, #2 who were providing care and supervision. Licensee's spouse was also present, but was not providing care and supervision.
Areas accessible to children were inspected as follows: Den area that has been converted into a day care area, one bedroom located at rear of home, one bathroom, and back yard.
Areas off limits include: The entire home that consist of living room, dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, attached garage and front yard.
Licensee states that there are no weapons or firearms on the premises. LPA did not observe swimming pools or spas on the premises. The backyard is adequately fenced. There are age appropriate toys and equipment on the premises. The smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are present in the facility. Fire extinguisher is present in the home. During a walk-through of the home, LPA observed child #1, #2, and #3 asleep in bouncer-type items which are prohibited in the Family Child Care Home; LPA obtained photo.

—Children records and required licensing forms were discussed as well as mandated child abuse reporting and criminal record clearance requirement. |
