25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco conducted an unannounced required one year inspection to the above facility on 08/26/22. LPA arrived at the facility at 09:55 AM and met with licensee, Patricia Oseguera, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present during this inspection was A2. Per Licensee, she only cares for he grandchildren for now. Licensee states she is accepting children currently. LPA observed 1 toddler and 1 infant in care. Per licensee, A2 is their mother.
This is a two story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, 2 living rooms, a detached garage, a laundry room, front yard and backyard (fenced). LPA observed an off limits living space above the garage. The living space consists of a living room, one bedroom and a bathroom. Per licensee, the living space is occupied by her mother in law. Per licensee, the living space is part of the home's address however there is a separate entrance to the living space. Off limit areas include all four bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen area, laundry room, upstairs living room, backyard, detached garage and living space built on top of the detached garage.
The main care area is located in the downstairs living room. LPA observed two leather couches, a leather chair, ceiling fan, wall mounted television, a locked fireplace, an air conditioning unit mounted in the window, and age appropriate toys. LPA observed the dining area to have a raised dining table and chairs. Child locks were observed beneath the kitchen sink and kitchen cabinets making contents inaccessible. No sharp objects such as kitchen knives were observed to be accessible in the off limits kitchen area. LPA observed a gate separating the dining area from the off-limits kitchen area. Per licensee, it is currently not in use because she does not have any children in care other than her grandchildren, and her grandchildren live in the home. The bathroom designated for use by children was observed to be clean and free of defects. LPA observed a lock beneath the bathroom sink making the contents inaccessible.
