25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alicia Bailey conducted an unannounced required annual inspection on 04/19/2022 at 2:30 pm. Upon arrival, LPA Bailey met with Site Director Hilda Contreras. LPA Bailey was guided on a tour of the facility including both indoor and outdoor areas. Staff 6 to 28 children ratio was in compliance. At 2:34pm Fingerprint clearances, was assessed and noted .The facility program from ages 2- 5 years. The facility hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm. The Facility Visit Checklist provided during inspection.
At 2:40 pm all areas identified on the Facility Sketch were inspected and checked the following: Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. The children and the staff rest rooms was inspected for age appropriate sinks and toilets were inspected for availability, good repair, water temperatures, toilet paper, paper towels, area safety and sanitation . At 2:52 pm LPA Bailey inspected the day care rooms 1&2, LPA Bailey observed age appropriate furniture, equipment and toys. At 3:00pm LPA Bailey toured day care room 1 LPA Bailey observed age appropriate books, furniture and toys. At 3:10 pm LPA Bailey toured the second day care room. LPA Bailey observed toys and napping equipment and bedding was in good repair. At 3:35pm the facility kitchen was toured. LPA Bailey inspected the food preparation area, storage and refrigeration was clean. The facility provides breakfast, lunch, snack.
At 3:45pm bedding identification were inspected. Storage for children's belongings and an isolation area with a sink, toilet, and mats/cots was inspected cleanliness.
At 3:50pm availability of drinking water was reviewed. First Aid supplies were inventoried. A review of medication policy, including administering, labeling, storage, and records was made.
