25 | On 04/11/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Risher conducted a 3 Year Required Inspection. LPA provided Licensee with the purpose of the visit and was granted access to the facility. LPA met with Miguela-lyn Admas, Licensee. LPA toured the inside and outside of the property with the Licensee. LPA observed the home to be clean, safe, orderly and well ventilated. There were 12 children with 2 staff. The operating hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm.
LPA observed the single family home to have a living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The Licensee utilizes the living room, kitchen, family room and both bathrooms as the day-care. The rest of the home is inaccessible to the children. The living room is used for napping. The children eat in the kitchen and outside. The family room is used for napping and daily activities such as music and storytime. The children use mats and playpens for napping. The isolation area is the living room.
Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. Licensee reports that there are no pets in the home.
The kitchen and bathroom areas were inspected for proper storage of chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and sharp pointed objects. These items were made inaccessible to children. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets have a safety latch attached to them. Cleaning supplies are stored underneath the sink in the kitchen.
LPA observed electrical outlets with protective covers.
LPA observed operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home which were tested during inspection. The home is equipped with 1 (2-A:10-B:C) Fire Extinguisher and First Aid kit which includes thermometer and band aids. The wall heaters were properly screened. The fireplace in the living room was properly screened. Licensee uses fans to keep the home cool during the warmer weather.
